Online Bidding

Online Bidding is provided by Royal Crown, INC. You can either bid on the website http://bid.royalcrownrace.com/ or go to the app store and download the Royal Crown Horse Sale App. There will be a 2% online buyers fee applied to all online winning bids. Online bidders have 3 payment choices, Overnighted Check, Credit Card or ACH (e-check). We do charge a 3% convenience fee to pay with a credit card or debit card (International 4%). Make sure you plan accordingly and notify your bank of the charges. Any returned e-check charges will be accessed a $500 fee and required to wire the balance same day plus the $500 fee. International bidders have 2 payment options of credit/debit card (4% convenience fee) or wire transfer. Once we have confirmed you are a customer in good standing with your bank, we will send you an “approval to bid” email.

Payment

Payment in full is required to be made to Royal Crown immediately by 5pm next business day. Either by credit card, wire transfer or check. International purchases are payable by credit/debit card or wire transfer. A 3% convenience fee will be charged if payments are made with a credit or debit card (4% international). By making payment with your card, you acknowledge that you waive the right for a return of horse(s) along with any and all refunds of monies paid etc. in conjunction with any purchases at this sale/auction from Royal Crown, INC.

Vetting/Pre-Purchase Exams

We encourage all buyers to do your homework. If x-rays aren't supplied by the seller and you would like to have x-rays or a pre purchase exam done, please contact the seller to arrange it on your expense.

Coggins

Will be required to be supplied by the seller. The coggins test is required to be within 6 months of sale date.

Health

Seller is required to supply a current health with buyers address as soon as shipping is arranged.

Transport

BUYER is responsible for lining up transport for any horses purchased.

Horses can stay at the sellers place for 7 days board-free after the sale. The daily charge after that varies among consignors, please contact them before hand. We highly recommend that buyers hire a licensed and insured transporter.

Equine Insurance

We highly recommend that buyers protect their investments and purchase equine insurance.

Post-Sale Care

Horses become the Buyer’s responsibility at the fall of the hammer. Buyers are advised to contact Seller and confirm that proper care is provided after the sale.

Foals

Foals will stay on their mothers until weaning. However, you must obtain insurance for them as soon as you purchase them.

Recipient Mares

All recipient mares must be returned to stated facility in good condition by December 1st of the year of foaling. Breederscertificates for the resulting foal will not be given until mare is returned. If mare is not returned, buyer will owe a $3,500 recipient purchase fee.

Warranties

There is no warranty, express or implied by  the Auctioneer, consignor, any representative thereof, or Royal Crown Inc, or any representative thereof as to the  soundness, physical condition, health, disposition, merchantability or  fitness for any particular purpose of any horse offered in this sale.  All horses are sold “as is” with all existing conditions and defects.  Any and all guarantees announced on the Seller’s behalf in the  description on the website are made solely between the Seller and the Buyer.
